ProVelo.lu, in collaboration with Haus vum Velo, has officially launched the Cycle Friendly Employer (CFE) certification in Luxembourg, an exciting initiative aimed at encouraging businesses and institutions to support cycling as a sustainable and healthy transportation option for their employees.
The CFE certification scheme was developed to establish a European standard for cycle friendly companies. The certification - awarded in 16 European countries including Luxembourg - is intended to help European companies to improve the situation for employees that cycle to work.
Commuting by bike has a positive impact on improving employee well-being and increasing their productivity while also fostering an active and environmentally sustainable workplace culture.
CFE certification is a three-step process that begins with a self-assessment by the company, followed by an on-site audit by one of our experts and culminates in receiving one of the three categories of the CFE label (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
