LALUX's motivations for participating in IMS activities

Our main motivation is the desire to learn and share knowledge on topics related to sustainable development. Expanding one's own horizons, but also helping others to expand theirs, is truly enriching, both professionally and personally. It is essential to engage in continuous learning, as sustainable development encompasses a wide range of topics that are vast and sometimes complex. Exchanging ideas with people who are committed to the same cause motivates, inspires and re-energises us.
IMS activities also provide an opportunity to apply what we learn from these exchanges and training sessions in a professional context to our private lives.

LALUX's Sustainable Development Policy:

We have defined a CSR strategy based on five pillars:

  1. Financial stability and sustainable economic growth,
  2. Social commitment and our regional roots,
  3. Minimising our environmental footprint,
  4. Combating discrimination,
  5. Promoting well-being at work.

Our actions are structured around these five pillars, which serve as a guide and framework. LALUX wishes to focus its efforts on issues and actions that make sense for the company and the environment in which it operates. Identifying needs and issues is a key step before taking action.

LALUX's Sustainable Development actions and frameworks:

The LALUX Group did not wait for its sustainable development and CSR initiatives to be formalised before implementing measures in this area. However, since its CSR strategy was adopted, two recent initiatives related to the above are worth highlighting:

  1. An internal survey on DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) issues and the experiences of employees within the company.
  2. This survey was followed by an initial series of 18 hours of workshops on DEI for senior and middle management. The survey results were presented and used as a guide to inform the lessons learned and discussions. The final outcome of the workshops was the definition of three DEI projects to be carried out in the coming years.
