This creative workshop, entitled "Capturing Diversity", was developed by the museum as part of Diversity Day 2019 and the exhibition of American photographer LaToya Ruby Frazier: based on a personality questionnaire, the team members were asked to compose a self-portrait that focuses on their personality and differences.
Mathilde Ast
Project Manager - The Good Fork
Hello! I’m Mathilde. After completing a BUT in Business Administration and bachelor's in management, I joined IMS Luxembourg as a Project Manager, proudly wearing the “sustainable food” hat. I lead The Good Fork, an award highlighting good practices in collective catering. This project brings together everything that inspires me: creativity, collaboration and a commitment to positive impact.
Curious, cheerful and always ready to get involved, I love learning from others and moving ideas forward with kindness. Passionate about organizing meaningful events, I truly believe that small steps can lead to big change. And if I can do with a bit of humour, plenty of determination and a caramel macchiato in hand, even better!

Project Manager - HandiMentor Connect
Hello, I’m Laura. At IMS Luxembourg, I am in charge of the Disability project, notably Handi-Perception and HandiMentor Connect. The aim of our activities is to raise awareness among organisations in Luxembourg about the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace.
Through these projects, I have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and, with them, to foster enthusiasm, reflection, and understanding on the topic of disability in the workplace. IMS allows me to contribute to the cause of sustainable development by bringing in new ideas and working on concrete issues. Our association’s philosophy is based on collective intelligence and kind human relationships to create a sustainable environment.
Before joining IMS, I worked in a law firm, where rigour and excellence were key. I carried out a variety of multidisciplinary tasks, which allowed me to gain experience in communication, event management, and business development project support. With a master’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages, a multidisciplinary programme, I was encouraged to keep an open mind towards topics such as communication, international relations, and interculturality.

After a Master's degree in sustainable finance, I started out in this sector before changing direction to get closer to the field and contribute more directly to business transformation. Curious and committed, I enjoy building bridges between stakeholders to accelerate positive change.
Alongside my work, I'm passionate about specialty coffee, electronic music and climate change adaptation issues. If you're looking for me, I'm probably hunting for a new vinyl or tasting a freshly roasted coffee!

Passionate about melancholic music and philosophy, I try to cultivate sincere empathy towards all living beings, aware that human conditions in our society are both fragile and complex. Project Manager - HandiMentor Connect
Since my teenage years, I have been fascinated by how humans come together to build a shared future. That’s why I naturally gravitated toward social science studies. I specialized in urban public policy, due to my love for the organization of our living spaces. Professionally, I quickly discovered the world of non-profit organizations. This professional field appealed to me for its concrete approach and its socially driven projects. This is how I want to contribute and belong to our society. After working on youth and health issues, I specialized at IMS in supporting people with disabilities in the workplace (HandiTeam Connect project). For me, inclusion and diversity programs reveal what organizations can do differently-for the broader benefit of all employees and the company’s prosperity.

I wear many hats, all linked by the same thread: reinventing the way we inhabit the world. As an explorer of low-tech innovations, a designer of mycomaterial lighting and an interior architect, I've co-designed and lived in biospheres capable of recycling water and producing food and energy, working towards the 2 tonnes of CO2 eq. per year recommended by the UN for 2050. I'm living proof that another way of life is possible.
At the same time, I'm also exploring the field of organisations. At IMS Luxembourg, I facilitate cooperation between the City of Luxembourg and local businesses. This year, I'm supporting two initiatives: planting for life as part of future Local Green Deals, and co-creating a toolkit to prevent sexist and sexual violence in the workplace, by building a culture of respect.

After studying in the paramedical field, a project combining adventure and humanitarian commitment led me to redirect my career. I obtained a master's degree in corporate communications in Lyon and discovered IMS during an internship.
Today, I'm in charge of communications, and every day, I try to highlight our values and the fabulous work of the whole team, particularly on our websites and social networks.
I love that my days at the office are always different; I love walking to discover new landscapes, playing piano, attending concerts by my favourite artists and spending time with my family.

My Master’s in Sustainable Communication together with my engagement in climate-oriented student associations enhanced both my organizational and collaborative skills. Working together with people is what gives me energy.
I love to think outside of the box, challenge the system and ask, “but why?”.
