Fonds du Logement's motivations to participate in IMS Luxembourg’s activities:

The Fonds du Logement is a public body responsible for renting and selling affordable housing that meets the needs and financial circumstances of low-income households. As we develop our activities, we intend to commit more to sustainable development. We also want to sign up for the Diversity Charter in 2025. We have already begun to take action internally in favour of employees with disabilities.

Fonds du Logement's Sustainable Development Policy:

We are working daily with all our stakeholders to make the Fonds du Logement a benchmark for affordable housing with a strong societal impact and a people-centred approach. We have begun an internal analysis using the B Corp tool and discussions with IMS members to take stock and define future sustainable development objectives to be developed/improved within our establishment.

Fonds du Logement's Sustainable Development actions and frameworks:

We have already put in place several initiatives in connection with sustainable development, including:

- at People level for our employees: since 2019, we have had an ethics and professional conduct charter that sets out the Fund's main principles and values, and an ethics committee whose role is to regularly raise awareness among employees and is the competent body to receive reports when an employee believes he or she is the victim of, or witnesses, an act of discrimination or harassment

- at Planet level: since 2022, almost 80% of our buildings have been powered by air-water or geothermal and photovoltaic heat pumps. Our major projects include CO2-neutral heating networks with innovative concepts (deep geothermal energy, ice tanks, electricity storage, etc.). In addition, an energy renovation concept has been put in place for our entire property portfolio, focusing in particular on reducing greenhouse gases, improving the energy efficiency of our homes and using technologies that enable us to create low/zero emission buildings

- at the Prosperity level: our large-scale projects include the reuse of land (land bank) and the passporting of materials used.
