Bamolux's motivations to participate in IMS Luxembourg’s activities:

Membership in IMS will give us access to a wealth of resources, tools, and good practices from other member organisations. This can provide valuable insights and advice for implementing responsible initiatives within our department and the broader public service. In addition, networking with other member organisations will foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing opportunities. By prominently addressing social responsibility within our organisation, we are trying to align ourselves with the national sustainable development objectives and show our commitment to this theme.

 

Bamolux's Sustainable Development Policy: 

We have launched a project to implement a social responsibility policy within our organisation. A diagnostic phase enabled us to determine all the CSR actions and initiatives already in place. We must anchor our CSR approach at the highest organisational level, specifically in our work programme, which constitutes our three-year strategic document. At the same time, we are already trying to implement 'quick wins' in promoting diversity and green events and raising awareness among our suppliers. 

 

Bamolux's Sustainable Development actions and frameworks: 

In the area of governance, the Ministère de la Fonction Publique (MFP) ensures that decision-making processes implement our organisation's strategy transparently, in particular through the publication of reports from the various decision-making bodies and increased professionalisation of our project management.

In the social field, the MFP has a favourable policy on teleworking and encourages working in co-working spaces, which enables our staff to reduce their travel time and greenhouse gas emissions. We strive to provide our employees with a pleasant and suitable working environment and flexible working conditions while always respecting our mission and responsibility to our customers and citizens. We will soon be signing the Diversity Charter, which, in addition to the legal framework, will be a cornerstone of our diversity policy.

In the environmental field, MFP has just been awarded the 'Superdreckskëscht' label, demonstrating our efforts in sustainable waste management and recycling. Regarding mobility, we have adapted our car park reservation system with a flexible and mobile solution that allows all our agents to take advantage of a car park. Regarding choosing raw materials based on sustainability criteria, our cleaning teams use eco-responsible cleaning products. We encourage the use of tap water by installing taps in our kitchenettes that produce boiling and sparkling water, and we encourage our staff not to use plastic bottles.
