CK’s motivations to participate in IMS Luxembourg’s activities:
Founded in 1946, CK specialises in office solutions (photocopying, scanning, archiving, digital solutions) to optimise work processes. While photocopying remains an essential part of the company's business, it is increasingly focusing on digital products. Sustainability is part of our strategy and our vision as a family business. Given what is happening in the world, it is clear that we need to find ways of making our activities more sustainable in terms of CSR and the evaluation of all our processes. We are aware that we will not be able to address everything at once.
By becoming a member of IMS Luxembourg, we will strengthen our commitment to CSR by adopting socially, environmentally and economically responsible business practices. Through this network, we will be able to exchange knowledge and best practices with other members, improving our sustainability performance. IMS Luxembourg also offers resources, training and practical tools for integrating sustainability into our strategy and operations. Membership will bring us multiple benefits as we seek to make a positive contribution to Luxembourg's sustainable development by integrating sustainability into our business practices.
CK’s CSR policy:
CK Office Technologies commissioned Deveco to carry out an Enterprise 2030 analysis in order to define a CSR strategy. We drew up a list of priorities based on the areas in which we can achieve the most significant results as quickly as possible, but also taking into account the budget, because anything to do with energy or infrastructure, for example, requires significant investment.
At CK, sustainable development is not just a slogan, it's a philosophy that guides our day-to-day actions. We are convinced that it is by acting responsibly and working together that we can create a better future for everyone.
CK’s CSR actions and frameworks:
At CK, we are firmly committed to sustainable development by implementing various actions to help preserve the environment, promote social well-being and support the local economy.
On the environmental front, we have policies in place to maximise the re-use and recycling of materials to reduce our impact on natural resources. We are also striving to reduce our carbon footprint by adopting concrete measures, such as using renewable energy sources and optimising our logistics to reduce CO2 emissions.
In social terms, we consider our employees to be our most valuable asset. That's why we attach great importance to valuing our staff by implementing fair remuneration policies and recognising their contributions. We also offer a flextime scheme to help our employees balance their professional and personal lives, as well as career development opportunities to encourage their personal and professional growth.
On the social and economic front, we place customer satisfaction at the heart of our concerns. We aim for excellence in customer service by offering quality products and services while being attentive to their needs and suggestions. We also actively support the local economy by favouring partnerships with local suppliers and contributing to the development of businesses in the region.
Finally, we believe in the value of commitment to society as a whole. This is why we strive to maintain responsible partnerships with our suppliers, ensuring that they share our values in terms of sustainable development. We seek to promote ethical practices throughout our supply chain.
