European Court of Auditors' motivations for participating in IMS activities:
Participating in IMS Luxembourg's activities strengthens our commitment to sustainability, particularly in the environmental field, for which the Court is ISO 14001 certified with a requirement for continuous improvement. These activities provide an opportunity for collaboration and give our employees the chance to acquire new knowledge and skills in the field of sustainability and to share best practices with other Luxembourg professionals concerned with these issues.
European Court of Auditors' Sustainable Development Policy:
On 28 November 2014, we adopted our first-ever environmental policy. It was updated in 2025 to reflect the progress and achievements resulting from the implementation of a high-quality environmental management system over the past ten years.
With this policy, the European Court of Auditors commits to:
- minimising the environmental impact of its daily work;
- continuously improving its environmental performance;
- complying with all applicable environmental legislation and obligations.
European Court of Auditors' Sustainable Development actions and frameworks:
We participate in the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), a management tool that enables organisations to assess, report and improve their environmental performance.
For further information, please refer to our environmental statement, validated by an accredited auditor. In it, we present our environmental performance results and our future plans for improvement.
