Afrilanthropy, an associate member of IMS Luxembourg, is currently looking for three companies interested in joining an innovative initiative combining sustainable mobility, risk prevention and social impact.
Entitled Pedal for Good: Safe Cycling with Social Impact, the project aims to raise awareness among employee·e·s about the risks linked to cycling to and from work. As cycling becomes increasingly popular, the number of accidents is rising, often due to distraction (smartphone use), inappropriate speed (especially with e-bikes) or cycling under the influence.
To address these challenges, Afrilanthropy has partnered with two key actor·e·s in sustainable mobility: Responsible Young Drivers (Belgium) and Wimoov (France). Together, they offer a highly interactive, immersive and engaging workshop experience.
Participants take part in 1-hour sessions, in small groups, using bike simulators and VR headsets to experience different scenarios (speed, substance use, distraction, etc.), followed by facilitated discussions on road safety and responsible behaviour.
Practical information:
- Project offered to three companies, on a first-come, first-served basis
- One full day per company, hosted on the company’s premises
- Planned during the week of 9–13 March 2026
- Several 1-hour sessions organised throughout the day
- A donation is usually requested, ideally starting from €2,000
Companies interested in taking part are invited to contact Emanuele Santi directly for further details: e.santi@afrilanthropy.org
