The British Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with St George’s International School, is delighted to invite you to an upcoming event: "COP28 Warm-up," to bring together science, policy-makers, academic research, businesses and education to discuss hopes and cautions for progress at COP28 in December 2023. This will take place on Wednesday 15 November from 18:30 to 20:00 at St George's International School.

Guest speaker Dr Andrew Ferrone, Head of the IPCC Delegation and Meteorological Department at ASTA, Luxembourg, will share his experiences from previous COPs. He will also discuss EU hopes for a strong outcome from COP28, following his participation at the July UN Climate Change conference in Bonn, Germany.

Audience members will then be able to pose questions to a panel including Dr Andrew Ferrone, Dr Claudia Hitaj, advisor from the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development, and Tobi Oladiran, Doctoral Researcher in Sustainable Finance regarding COP28, beyond and thoughts for sustainability in business.
