Through the Sustainability Manager Club, IMS offers the CSRD Capacity Building Program – a series of practical sessions to help companies navigate the new sustainability reporting requirements. These sessions aim to equip sustainability and finance professionals with concrete tools to anticipate obligations and implement robust reporting processes.
In today’s climate of uncertainty around the CSRD, many companies are asking the same question: Will my organization be subject to reporting obligations? And if not, how should we prepare?
The Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME) is emerging as a strategic solution for businesses that fall outside the CSRD scope due to changes in threshold criteria. Additionally, under the Omnibus proposal, large companies within CSRD scope can only request information from their value chain using VSME standards.
If you want to:
- Adopt VSME standards for your own sustainability reporting, or
- Understand how to leverage VSME to request information from companies in your value chain
then register for this session.
This workshop, led by PwC Luxembourg, will help participants clarify their position and understand the practical implications of the VSME standard — whether they are directly in scope, indirectly affected through value-chain expectations, or considering voluntary reporting.
We will discuss:
- What the VSME standards mean for voluntary reporting and how they support future readiness.
- What large companies should ask from their suppliers in terms of data and due diligence alignment.
- EFRAG support tools to start mapping your data and disclosure priorities.
Whether you represent a large company, an SME, or you’re simply uncertain about your reporting obligations, this session will help you navigate the current context with clarity and actionable insights.
