Graine de Vie is an NGO whose goal is to offset the ecological footprint of the inhabitants and businesses of our countries by planting trees in developing countries.
The large-scale planting of a variety of trees in deforested areas preserves the soil and aquifers and allows many animal and plant species to survive. The plantations are established with the support of the local population, using an agroforestry approach, which helps to provide a sustainable additional income for the population.
Graine de Vie's activities are currently concentrated in Madagascar and Togo.
The members of Graine de Vie in Luxembourg are all volunteers.
