Voices International is Luxemburg’s most multicultural inclusive SATB choir, founded in 1997. We are a non-profit a.s.b.l. with 160+ singers from more than 35 countries around the world. Under the direction of Dr. James Libbey, we break down barriers and unite people across all ages and social backgrounds through the joy of singing. Our creativity lives through our members who constantly inspire us to push boundaries and try new things, such as making parts of our programme accessible through sign language.
What we do:
• Two full concert seasons each year (Summer/Winter) – 5–6 performances annually,
• Sold-out shows at the Philharmonie Grand Auditorium and regular Christmas charity
concerts in churches across the country,
• Annual donations of up to € 6000,00 to children’s charities, pop-up concerts at charity
and public events (WOŚP, Ala - Alzheimer Memory Walk, private company diversity days),
• International collaboration with Coro Sinfónico Inês de Castro, Portugal and
performances at International Choir Festivals – most recently at the 75th Cork
International Choir Festival,
• Supporting young talent, by
o Working with gifted pianist Ezgi Gokturk (rehearsal & concert pianist)
o Commissioning original works featuring young composers through our concerts
o Performing with the International School of Luxemburg Choirs.
What we’re looking for:
We look forward to building partnerships that promote shared values, build bridges, and help the most vulnerable through the gift of music.
