The non-profit association Défi-job was created in 2002 to promote the social and professional reintegration of people placed in the Givenich penitentiary centre in the hope that regular employment would reduce the risk of re-offending.
Within this framework, Défi-job's mission is to create, develop and promote projects that facilitate professional and social integration, taking into account the profile of the prisoners and the specific features of the labour market, while developing synergies between the various socio-economic players at local, regional and national level. Défi-job is funded by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Labour.
