Companies have the responsibility to respect human rights. While companies comply well with their responsibility within the national territory, abuses and violations may nonetheless occur in the value chain. That is why the government of Luxembourg and the European Union respectively work at the establishment of a duty of vigilance. Due diligence compels/requires companies to ensure that no abuse of human rights occurs along the value chain of their activities.
This responsibility includes the identification and the evaluation of the potential and actual impacts of their activities, their mitigation and the access to remedy.
IMS helps companies comply with this new responsibility by providing workshops on different themes:
- Mobilise organisations on Human Rights issues
- Stakeholder communication and Human Rights
- Procurement and Human Rights
- Human Ressources and Human Rights
