The youth reception centers of the Fondation Maison de la Porte Ouverte (FMPO), an associated member of IMS, support young people who are rebuilding their lives every day. Yet one essential need often remainsinvisible: the ability to choose one’s own clothes, express one’s personality, and build self-confidence.
FMPO’s goal is not simply to “distribute” clothing, but to create a true space of choice through their first internal solidarity sale, planned for June 2026.
The foundation is launching its first targeted clothing drive for boys and is specifically looking for:
✔ Clothes in excellent condition (sportswear, trousers, accessories, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, and coats)
✔ Sizes suitable for young people aged 8 to 27 (S, M, L, XL)
✔ Clean items, ready to be worn immediately
This initiative aims to:
• Raise awareness of the circular economy
• Promote the use of second-hand clothing
• Offer young people a genuine space of choice
This is not just about giving away what you no longer want, but about passing on clothes you would be proud to wear.
Because feeling good in your clothes is often the first step toward feeling good about yourself.
