Hosted by the International School of Luxembourg, the International Education and Sustainability Leadership Summit (IESLS) will take place from April 18-20, 2024.
Led by an expert faculty drawn from the worlds of sustainability, education and development, the IESLS will bring together students, teachers and leaders from national and international systems of education as well as policy makers, leaders in business & industry, climate change experts, and sustainability influencers.
Designed in collaboration with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and Sustainability Education, the conceptual framework of the IESLS offers the opportunity for strategic engagement, intense reflection, and collaboration around leadership, approaches to teaching & learning, curriculum design, and infrastructure.
More than 130 delegates from 17 different countries are expected to attend the IESLS this year. Individual and group delegations will represent the following sectors: local, national & international schools; universities, architecture, finance, construction, social media, artists, charities, business consultancy, ECIS, IBO, and the Luxembourg Ministry of the Environment & Biodiversity.
