After the success of Collectif au Carré in 2020, Mamie et Moi presents a new creative, collective, and local project.
Since antiquity, people have addressed various divinities by soliciting or thanking them by offering small objects called Ex-voto. The heart shape is the most popular form; we can find it in various sizes, colours, and materials. Together, regardless of our age, gender, origin, or language, let's create a giant heart in the colours of Luxembourg. It will be presented to the public in a symbolic location in the capital. It's an original way to show the strength of the collective and our desire for integration in Luxembourg.
How to participate?
You can create knitting or crocheting squares measuring 5 x 5 cm in red, white, or blue. Then deposit them in collection boxes located throughout the country.
Mamie et Moi also invites you to come and create your squares during the "Café Tricot Musée" and "Tricot sur l'herbe" during the summer. You will find all the necessary equipment, but you can also bring your own.

- Friday 12 May from 10am to 12pm
- Sunday 11 June from 2pm to 4pm
- Friday 30 June from 10am to 12pm
