The Luxembourg operator supports the Kräizbierg Foundation, whose mission is to promote and strengthen the social and professional integration of people with disabilities, offering them workshop work.

To promote diversity and contribute to a more inclusive society, Orange called on the Foundation, which directly employs people with disabilities, to make customised fabric bags and handicrafts.

A day of exchange in the Foundation's workshops is also planned with Orange employees.

Orange Luxembourg is pleased to reaffirm its support for the Kräizbierg Foundation, a Luxembourg-based organisation that works to improve the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.

Among its activities, through its cooperative company "Ateliers Kräizbierg", the Foundation offers paid employment to many of them. This enables them to have a working life close to a job in the private sector. These workshops explore various topics, from embroidery to accounting, multimedia, pottery, screen printing and gardening.

A regular partnership
"Orange Luxembourg has already called on the Kräizbierg Foundation in the past. This summer, we placed a new order for 10,000 reusable, Oekotex-labelled, personalised and screen-printed bags to promote the RE mobile phone take-back, reconditioning and recycling programme. These bags are currently being distributed in shops to our customers", explains Barbara FANGILLE, Head of Communication at Orange Luxembourg.

The partnership is continuing in October. The operator has decided to call Ateliers Kräizbierg to produce personalised handicrafts that will be distributed to Orange employees during an internal event.

Promoting diversity and inclusion
An exchange day will occur on 18 October 2022 with Orange employees. On this occasion, volunteers from Orange Luxembourg will visit the Kraïzbierg Foundation to discover this structure from the inside and meet its employees through fun and creative workshops. "Through this initiative, we are pursuing the commitment shared by the Orange Group regarding inclusion. We are committed to respecting professional equality between women and men and balancing professional and personal life," says Barbara Fangille. This also implies the inclusion of people with disabilities, which we have worked on for many years, from recruitment to job retention. This initiative, with the Kräizbierg Foundation, should help us to facilitate the integration of these people while respecting their aspirations.
