Immersion Day "Girls4STEM"

In Luxembourg, women are still very underrepresented in digital and STEM careers. In 2021, only 3 out of 1,000 female graduates chose to pursue these fields, compared to 7 men. By welcoming a young girl for an immersion internship, your company can help change this reality: spark interest, open up new perspectives, and encourage future talents to envision themselves in these essential careers.

Take part in Girls4STEM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026!

As part of the “Girls: Deploy Your Talent!” project, IMS Luxembourg invites companies and organisations active in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to open their doors to young people aged 14 to 16 for a one-day immersion experience.

The goal of this initiative is to raise awareness among young girls about career paths that are still underrepresented by women, to show them that these professions are fully accessible to them, and to inspire them through encounters with role models working in STEM fields.

Throughout the Girls4STEM day on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, high school students will be able to discover your organisation, talk with your employees, take part in interactive activities, and gain hands-on insight into your work and projects.

By taking part in this initiative, you actively support young people in their career orientation, promote STEM professions, and encourage greater diversity in these future-oriented fields.

When? Wednesday, 20th May (all day)
Where? Each organisation will host a group of young people on their premises.
For whom? This event is open to all organisations with premises in Luxembourg. Registration is required to participate.

This choice encourages a more sustainable diet that respects the living world. This menu also encourages the inclusion of people on specific diets for medical, ethical or religious reasons.
