Through the Sustainability Manager Club, IMS offers the CSRD Capacity Building Program – a series of practical sessions to help companies navigate the new sustainability reporting requirements. These sessions aim to equip sustainability and finance professionals with concrete tools to anticipate obligations and implement robust reporting processes.
The CSRD context is shifting, and disclosure requirements have been temporarily eased for some companies. While SMEs may not be directly subject to the CSRD, recent regulatory updates and evolving market dynamics mean they will increasingly face indirect requirements: large companies as part of their value chain due diligence will request ESG data, procurement processes are adding sustainability criteria, and clients may require alignment with frameworks such as SBTi (Science-Based Targets initiative). This interactive session will help SMEs understand these new expectations, anticipate risks, and leverage sustainability reporting as a strategic advantage.
