The example of Bruce Willis has shown that Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia do not only affect the elderly, but increasingly younger people who are often still professionally active. These diseases are often confused with other neurocognitive disorders or burnout.

What are the risk factors and prevention methods? What is the difference with "normal" memory disorders? How to react in a professional context?

To explore these questions and raise awareness within Luxembourg organisations, IMS is organising a conference with Christine Dahm-Mathonet, director of the national service Info-Zenter Demenz. The Info-Zenter Demenz is an institution whose mission is to raise awareness and inform about dementia to break the taboo and destigmatise those affected.
