Taking a close look at Sustainable Finance Standards: SASB Standards & IMP Five Dimensions of Impact

Following this year’s first Sustainable Finance webinar organized in collaboration with the LSFI, we are pleased to announce our next session which will take place on 28th September and will consist of a deep dive into Standards.

Standards are a sustainable finance instrument that can help your company advance on the sustainable finance journey by providing a set of requirements and metrics that aim to support the collection, reporting and disclosure of ESG-related information.

During this session, the LSFI team will briefly introduce their web-based toolkit “Take Action” and what Standards are. This will be followed by two keynote speeches about two highly recognized Standards: SAASB & IMP Five Dimensions of Impact. Speakers will include

  • Maria Tapia, Communcation Manager, Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI)
  • Neil Stewart, Director of Corporate Outreach of Value Reporting Fondation, SASB standards
  • Mike McCreless, Executive Director of Impact Frontiers, IMP Five Dimensions of Impact.

This webinar is part of a collaboration with the LSFI and it is the second session of a series of three, it aims to raise awareness and promote sustainable finance.

Mike McCreless – Impact Frontiers
Mike is the Founder and Executive Director of Impact Frontiers. In 2020, he led the investors participating in the first Impact Frontiers cohort to co-author the article “How Investors Can Integrate Social Impact With Financial Performance to Improve Both” in the Stanford Social Innovation Review, as well as an accompanying Investor Handbook
Mike served concurrently as Head of Investor Collaboration at the Impact Management Project from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Mike was Head of Impact at Root Capital, where his article “Toward the Efficient Impact Frontier” was featured in the Winter 2017 issue of SSIR. He holds an MBA and an MPA in International Development from Harvard University, as well as a BA from Yale University.

 

 

Neil Stewart – SASB 
Neil Stewart is the New York-based Director of Corporate Outreach for the IFRS Foundation, which houses the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), the newly created International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), the SASB Standards and the Integrated Reporting Framework. Neil joined SASB in 2020, bringing more than 25 years of experience in and around investor relations and corporate governance. Previously at Citigroup as VP IR Advisory on the ADR team, helping non-US issuers develop IR and ESG strategies, Neil is a board member of NIRI NY, the New York chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute.
