As sustainability gains traction in organisations yet faces scrutiny, we saw the need to define the role of the sustainability manager. In collaboration with professionals working in Luxembourg, we developed a comprehensive job reference framework to guide professionals and recruiters alike.
This document outlines the key responsibilities, technical skills, interpersonal qualities, and transferable skills for sustainability managers and features insights from 15 professionals from IMS member organisations, who share their unique perspectives on this vital role.

LSF2024: AI for Positive Impact
The 13th edition of the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum took place on 22 October 2024, drawing a full house of 350 attendees and 450 additional participants joining online. Organised by IMS Luxembourg, the event focused on the positive impact of artificial intelligence (AI), along with its challenges and aspirations.
Discussions explored the complex issues surrounding AI, including its democratic, environmental, and social implications, and showcased 10 key innovations addressing today’s challenges.
