The Géro association is organising a round table as part of the 41st Festival des Migrations, des Cultures et de la Citoyenneté.

During this round table, we will discuss the situation of immigrant workers in Luxembourg who, upon reaching retirement age, choose to remain in the Grand Duchy. Together, we will explore their daily realities and the challenges they face.

Academics who have studied the topic will present their findings, professionals from the field will also shed light, and most importantly, we will hear from several individuals affected by migration, already retired or soon to retire from Luxembourg.

This discussion among participants will be moderated by sociologist Heidi Martins, herself a specialist in these matters. Audience participation is welcome for reactions and/or questions to the round table participants. This event aims to be inclusive, welcoming all languages to engage with the various stakeholders.
