The #warmsweaterday dedicated to the wearing of heavy jumpers is now a well-established international event. Since 2023, the idea has also conquered Luxembourg - with the help and support of the Klima-Bündnis Lëtzebuerg. What could be more natural in these times of climate and energy crisis, when we are being challenged to adopt measures, actions and campaigns that highlight the importance of saving energy and offer tips that are accessible to all energy consumers, citizens and businesses alike (without giving lessons in morality)?

The #journéegrospull - or #waarmepulloverdag in Luxembourgish - is intended to be a friendly campaign based on simple gestures: on 4 February 2024, everyone is invited to put on their favourite jumper and post their photo with the corresponding hashtag on social media, along with a brief statement explaining why it makes sense to save energy: "I'm turning down the thermostat, I'm putting on my jumper - my gesture for the planet" or "-1 (on the thermostat) = 6 (% energy savings) - my green maths! "are just 2 of many examples.

Taken at home or at work, solo, as a family or as a team with work colleagues ... the more photos and the funnier they are, the better!
