AlimenTerre Festival - Debate & Screening of the documentary "From Plate to Ocean"

Do you know what the impact of our food is on the ocean? If we change our eating habits, could this save the ocean?

The ocean is the source of life. It produces the oxygen we breathe, regulates the climate, and covers 70% of our planet. Yet, it’s under threat—and often overlooked. Our food choices can have serious consequences for the health of the ocean, its ecosystems, and the communities that depend on it.

But there is hope. Across France, individuals are pioneering more sustainable ways of eating. In the documentary de « De l’assiette à l’océan » young ocean advocate Malaury Morin hitchhikes across the country to meet these changemakers. Through her journey, you’ll learn about the impact of industrial fishing, agriculture, pesticides, fertilizers, and global food transport—and discover practical solutions for eating well while preserving the ocean.

Join us for a screening of the short version of the documentary and a live exchange with its director, Julien Challandes.
