Accounting for Non-Profits - Part&Act in Practice

CLAE and IMS Luxembourg are offering a hands-on accounting workshop specifically designed for small non-profit organisations

Through methodological input and practical exercises, this workshop aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of non-profit accounting.

Understand the challenges of non-profit accounting and the related legal obligations:

  • Identify the key aspects;
  • Learn the basic operational rules;
  • Become familiar with the new obligations introduced by the law of 7 August 2023.

Acquire essential accounting skills for managing a non-profit organisation:

  • Compile accounting documents;
  • Keep a journal;
  • Prepare a profit and loss account;
  • Produce a balance sheet;
  • Develop a budget;
  • File financial statements to the trade and companies register
