Through the Sustainability Manager Club, IMS offers the CSRD Capacity Building Program – a series of practical sessions to help companies navigate the new sustainability reporting requirements. These sessions aim to equip sustainability and finance professionals with concrete tools to anticipate obligations and implement robust reporting processes.
The CSRD context is shifting with the recent EU “quick fix” delegated act bringing temporary relief for Wave 1 companies. While some disclosure requirements, such as ESRS E4 (biodiversity), have been temporarily eased, expectations on climate, resource use, and circularity remain strong. These themes are now critical for aligning business strategies with sustainability requirements and market demands.
In this capacity building session, we will take a deep dive into the Environment ESRS, with a specific focus on resource use and circular economy (E5), as circularity is becoming a strategic lever to manage risks, optimize resources, and comply with emerging expectations across the value chain.
