Guided tour of the exhibition "The Revival by Caritas," conference, and debate
Part&Act in practice
In conjunction with the temporary exhibition "The Revival - Ghana: The Dump of Fast Fashion" organised by Caritas, we have the pleasure of welcoming Yayra Agbofah, the founder of The Revival, a Ghanaian organisation.
The issue of textile waste is growing. Our clothes do not disappear from the face of the earth when we discard them; they often travel to West Africa with significant impacts. "The Revival," a Ghanaian citizen organisation in collaboration with Caritas Luxembourg, sheds light on this reality in Esch from February 1st to May 11th, 2024, thanks to the support of the City of Esch.
Actors from (over-)consuming countries, such as Luxembourg, have a responsibility and must commit to a more responsible textile industry throughout the value chains.
During this after-work, Yayra Agbofah, the founder of The Revival, will share the organisation's story and missions, presenting its future ambitions to combat textile waste. Following that, initiatives in Luxembourg will showcase local solutions. You will, of course, be invited to ask questions and share your thoughts.
Discover (or rediscover) the "STYLE" session of the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum to better understand the ecological and social challenges related to the world of fashion and how to address them!
