Representing more than a quarter of Luxembourgers' carbon footprint, there's no denying that mobility needs to change. This involves adopting new mobility behaviours, such as increasing active mobility or the use of public transport, adapting to new solutions linked to the economy of functionality, such as car-sharing or car-pooling, using public transport or adopting a less carbon-intensive form of mobility. These are the solutions we propose to discuss in detail during our series of informative and practical workshops on sustainable mobility.
Fair, needs-based parking management is a fundamental tool for a sustainable mobility policy. Indeed, the availability, capacity and accessibility of company parking facilities influence the proportion of home-to-work journeys made by car.
