The water crisis is worrying. This resource is essential for all living organisms and, therefore, for human activities' proper functioning. Faced with the challenges of sustainable consumption and preservation of fresh water, the private sector has a role to play in its preservation.  
 
What is the situation in the world? What is the state of the groundwater? How can Luxembourg companies act against the depletion of water resources? Where to start? Which measurement tools can help them in this challenge?  
 
IMS Luxembourg organises a webinar to raise awareness and to provide first steps towards action on this subject.

In the first part, Mr Abou Amani, Director of UNESCO's Water Sciences Division and Secretary of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP), will present the situation of the freshwater crisis and introduce the mission of UNESCO and IHP. 
In the second part, Una Harcinovic, Water Manager at the WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development), will present their actions towards the Water Agenda and the challenges the private sector faces today.  She will share with us two tools to help companies take concrete action.  
And finally, Mr. Khaled Al Mezayen, co-founder and president of Inovaya, a company acting for water preservation and access to drinking water, will share its expertise on companies' actions for water.
