Luxembourg CEO Sustainability Club - Enter into a progress process, carry out your GES assessment

Since the launch of the Luxembourg CEO Sustainability Club in 2014, we have been convinced that managers are key drivers of change and that IMS is the catalyst. There is an urgent need to accelerate the movement to address the various crises that are already here and those that will soon come. Together we can work together to shape a different, more inclusive and sustainable future.

Participate, learn, share and ACT with us.

Created in 2008 by the Groupement des entrepreneurs and the Fédération des entreprises de Construction et de génie civil, the CDEC, Conseil pour le Développement Economique de la Construction, has based its strategy on 5 main pillars: Finance - Training - Certification and Engineering - Innovation - Promotion of the sector.

The engineering pillar is carried by Cocert, which works for the control of energy efficiency in buildings. Composed of engineers in energy efficiency of buildings, Cocert offers a wide range of services, for companies but also for local authorities, including carbon footprinting, which allows to analyse, quantify, prioritise and optimise to reduce carbon footprints.

After completing his studies in civil and construction engineering, specialising in energy engineering, in Versailles, France, Benoit Martin joined the Luxembourg agency for the energy efficiency of buildings, COCERT, which aims to support construction actors in the design and construction of sustainable and energy efficient buildings.
After five years with the agency as an energy efficiency engineer, Benoit joined the architectural firm Rodolphe Mertens, where he took a more holistic approach to construction and accompanied the sector from the first sketch of a project to the handover of the keys.
After this experience, Benoit seized the opportunity in 2014 to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of energy specialists, within COCERT as director.
