Science-Based Targets & Climate Action Luxembourg Task Force - Workshop 4

Fourth workshop – Carbon Footprinting

The Science-Based Targets & Climate Action Luxembourg Task Force's main objective is to help your organization set and achieve greenhouse gas reduction targets according to climate science. It aims to create a collaborative platform where everyone can discuss the topic and learn from experts and organizations already engaged in the process. It will also help to create synergies to make your company a climate leader in Luxembourg. The Task Force will be inspired by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The fourth workshop will take place on 6 July and tackle carbon footprinting. It will be structured as follow:

  • A plenary session to give the theoretical basis and an overview of the calculation process,
  • Two rounds of breakout sessions on different categories of emissions. Each breakout session will include three parts:
    • Some theoretical explanations on the category by a consultant,
    • A testimonial from a company on its calculation of the category,
    • A discussion between the participants, the consultant, and the company.
