EDP’s (formlery Enerdeal) motivations to participate in IMS Luxembourg’s activities:
“We Choose Earth”: the EDP Group’s slogan sums up our commitment. IMS brings together companies that use sustainability as a driver of performance, and that is also what we do: we help organisations in Luxembourg to generate their own renewable energy. The network enables us to engage with peers facing the same decarbonisation challenges, to share our experiences and to develop projects with other members.
EDP’s CSR policy:
Since 2009, we have been supporting businesses and local authorities in their energy transition, balancing decarbonisation, economic performance and a commitment to sustainability. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the EDP Group since 2023, we design, finance, build and operate industrial solar power stations, complete with energy storage and management systems, in Belgium, Luxembourg and France.
Our ‘As-a-Service’ model removes the main barrier to the transition: the initial investment. We finance the installation, retain ownership and operate it for the entire duration of the contract, which ranges from 15 to 25 years. We therefore remain responsible for the long-term performance of each power station, well beyond handover.
