Sustainable Procurement Club

IMS Luxembourg’s Professional Clubs are spaces for exchange and skills development dedicated to professionals committed to the sustainable transformation of organisations. Designed around specific professional functions, they enable members of the IMS network to share practices, deepen their understanding of key sustainability challenges and co-create concrete solutions tailored to the Luxembourg context.

Each club offers:

  • peer-to-peer exchange sessions,
  • practical and contextualised content,
  • formats that support learning, ownership and implementation within organisations.

Sustainable Procurement Club

Procurement represents, on average two two-thirds of a company’s turnover, yet its social and environmental impacts often remain poorly understood. Behind every purchased product or service lie choices that influence working conditions, carbon footprint, biodiversity and the local economy.

Supply chain emissions (Scope 3) are on average 26 times higher than companies’ direct and energy-related emissions (Scopes 1 and 2). However, companies are 2.4 times more likely to set targets for their direct emissions than for their supply-chain emissions.

The Sustainable Procurement Club brings together IMS members several times a year, with a particular focus on procurement decision-makers and influencers. The aim of the club is to enable participants to meet, exchange on concrete case studies and gain access to tools to implement a sustainable procurement policy. Each session focuses on a specific topic, its key challenges and its practical application. Sessions are in french.
