Kick-off Workshop
Health at work: what are the prevention strategies for addictions?
Health and safety at work have become a key issue for companies today. The growing increase in recent years in the number of burn-outs and depressions suggests that this phenomenon has a substantial impact on the business world. This is particularly true regarding absenteeism, sick leave and, more generally, a loss of productivity and/or profitability. It appears that addictive behaviours (alcohol, drugs, screens, etc.) in the workplace are prominent among the psycho-social risks influencing the quality of life at work and the expected profits. Given this observation, scientific studies show that taking action to deal with these behaviours is helpful and more profitable for companies than taking the risk of ignoring or underestimating them.
Faced with this delicate subject involving the company's responsibility, we propose an awareness-raising session on addictions in the workplace.
In the first phase, IMS and arcus are organising a workshop to bring together several companies to identify better the difficulties they encounter regarding addictive behaviour. This workshop will serve to inform you about the activities of Quai 57 but also and above all to identify, together, the unmet needs and to identify possible solutions for and/or in the field of the company.
When? Friday 14th October, from 9:00 am to noon
Where? Spuerkeess / 19 Av. de la Liberté / 1160 Luxembourg
For whom? IMS member organisations
Event in French.
