The mental health of HR: a collective asset to preserve

The future of HR, a cycle of events organised by IMS and HR Community

Anxiety levels have risen sharply among all employees since the Covid crisis. Human resources are particularly affected by this risk. Indeed, for two years now, they have had to face work situations that are particularly demanding for our cognitive system. Dealing with employees facing difficult situations is emotionally challenging. Social interactions may become more complex due to contradictory injunctions between human support and economic performance. Ongoing changes in the work organisation lead to a feeling of powerlessness to manage certain employee situations, or force the coping with quasi-permanent uncertainty. During this conference, we will see what cognitive mechanisms are at work in these situations, and the individual and collective levers available to HR teams.
