CORPORATE GARDENS - COURTYARD AND ROOFTOP GARDENS

As part of its commitment to Urban Farming and the Corporate Garden guide published in November 2019, IMS offers two webinar sessions on corporate gardens (first event on the green walls here):

2. Courtyard and rooftop gardens

Often forgotten or under-exploited spaces, rooftops and land around office buildings have the greatest potential for the establishment of corporate gardens. These are spaces that are frequented on an ad hoc but aimless basis by company employees and customers, and which have significant environmental and social potential within the company itself.

Romain Balmary, Co-Founder of Ciel mon radis designs participatory vegetable gardens on rooftops, terraces and in the gardens of companies in the Paris region and beyond. Around the vegetable gardens, Ciel mon radis runs gardening workshops for employees: the famous "Thyme Building" workshops! They accompany the HR departments of companies such as the M6 Television Group, the CIC and the French Electricity Transmission Network (RTE).
