APEMH is a Luxembourg association created in 1967 by parents of children living with an intellectual disability. For 55 years, as an association created by families, we have placed the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities at the heart of our actions. An inclusive and supportive society provides access to choice and fundamental rights by offering a wide range of solutions to people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

APEMH is constantly building and adapting its offer to the current needs of people, whatever their age, their disability or their life situation.

Our mission
- To offer structures and services adapted to the changing needs of people with intellectual disabilities.
- To actively contribute to the defence of the rights and interests of people with intellectual disabilities.

The main areas of activity of APEMH are organised around the following axes: Advice and guidance, Children and family, Adult day care, Training and Work, Housing, Accompaniment and support, and Training and competence centres.

To contribute to the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families, APEMH's projects are built around three fundamental values: Personalisation, Self-determination and Inclusion. In a transversal way, the principle which guides the action of the professionals of APEMH, whatever the service or the structure in which they intervene, is to guarantee a good quality of life for the users.

Its main field of action: Health and Disability
