IT'S TIME TO... Protect and Restore Biodiversity

I'm Sarah, and with IMS Luxembourg, we are encouraging companies to commit to protecting 30% of the land and sea by 2030 (COP15) to reach one of the critical objectives of COP15. Biodiversity and ecosystems provide us with services daily. Therefore, implementing solutions to protect and restore nature is essential.

This April, we want to highlight four keywords: understand, assess, measure, and act. These are crucial for a practical biodiversity approach on your site and/or your value chain.

Upcoming events

City Nature Challenge, Friday 28th of April, from 12.15 pm to 2.00 pm

Discover how can your company preserve biodiversity and document urban biodiversity with the iNaturalist app and a biodiversity expert. 

 

Visit to the Minett UNESCO Biosphere, Thursday 11th of May, from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm

The programme includes a two-hour guided tour of the reserve, the opportunity to create a herbarium to fix your knowledge on the species. It is also a great opportunity to discover the role that companies can play in preserving our local biodiversity and its ecosystems.

 

Nature (re)connection activity and lunch conference, Thursday 25th of May 2023 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm

The event offers the opportunity to go back to the source of the complex relationships that link individuals to nature. Explore why it is important to preserve these relationships for the well-being of each individual and for a prosperous society.
