Let’s go! The Nature Pact for Businesses will focus on the ACT-D methodology developed by numerous international organisations (WWF, Capitals Coalition, WEF, SBTN, etc.) to help you with your biodiversity strategy. What does ACT-D stand for?

C: Commit
T: Transform
D: Disclose
Each workshop will focus on a specific letter. This first workshop will therefore focus on the "Assessment" part of your site and your business sector.

- Visit to the Co-Labor site
- An analysis of the solutions to be developed on your sites
- A collective intelligence workshop on your biodiversity-related impacts and dependencies

For who? All employees whose organisations is a member of IMS. We want to involve several departments (CSR, Facilities, Finance, CEOs) from the same company. Creating commitment internally and at different levels is important if there is to be change!

Martin Heyeres – Ingénieur de recherche, LIST
Having fallen into the "magic potion" of nature from a very young age, Martin holds a Master's degree in Organismal Biology and Ecology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about wildlife, flora, and ecosystem conservation, he began his career as an ecologist, supporting various wind energy, urban development, and industrial projects in Luxembourg and Belgium. Drawing on his field experience, Martin joined the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in 2024 as a research engineer to participate in various biodiversity study programs in Luxembourg.
Youri Martin – Ingénieur de recherche en biodiversité, LIST
With a PhD in Biological Sciences from the Université catholique de Louvain, he conducted his research at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), where he began his career in 2010 with an FNR grant. His work primarily focused on the impact of climate change, species distribution shift mechanisms, and long-term biological monitoring programs. Dedicated to nature conservation, he also spent five years overseeing the scientific monitoring of European nature reserve restoration projects (LIFE) for Natagora in the Belgian Lorraine. Youri returned to LIST in 2020, where he joined the OCEB (Climate, Environment, and Biodiversity Observatory) to work on research and biological monitoring projects in Luxembourg.
Raf Stassen - Biodiversity Expert, Biota
Raf Stassen has over twenty years' experience of working with a wide range of organisations in the fields of sustainability and biodiversity, including NGOs, government departments and businesses.
As co-owner and director of the environmental consultancy Biota.lu in Luxembourg (www.biota.lu), he specialises in biodiversity projects. He is also a member of Quest Impact Studio (www.queststudio.be), where he supports businesses in innovation, strategy and communication on their journey towards greater sustainability, and co-founder of the Habitats Foundation (www.habitatsfoundation.org).
