Luxembourg Sustainability Forum 2024

AI for Positive Impact – Hopes & Challenges

Luxembourg's leading sustainability event returns in October for its 13th edition.

The Luxembourg Sustainability Forum is dedicated to sustainability issues. Each year, we welcome speakers from the academic, professional, and scientific worlds to shed light on the world of today and especially tomorrow. This event is a TV show with a live audience and broadcast live on the imslux.lu website.
The IMS team is starting to work on the programming. We will tell you more soon...

The AI revolution is underway. Sure, but to what benefit? That's the whole question.

On 22 October, the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum will examine this massive technological disruption in the context of sustainable development. What are the benefits? How will it impact our society and environment? How can we direct AI innovation towards tackling the major challenges of our time for the benefits of all?

On the programme:

•    For neither good nor evil? Listen to specialists discuss the major societal issues raised by AI.
•    10 reasons to believe. Discover 10 innovations that are really changing the game.

•    AI compatible? Understand the (very near) future of work, the skills required, and the human intelligence needed to respond.

Find all the replays of the 2023 edition here.

"Throughout mankind's history, technological progress has been constant. How it translates into shared prosperity is a social choice as Acemoglu and Johnson have brilliantly shown in their book "Power and Progress". And it is our role as businesses and governments to foster a vision around how AI augments human capacity and contributes to creating new products and services, putting humans back more at the heart of business and taking into account the ecological constraints of AI. This will only happen with courageous foresight and action!" François Mousel, Managing Partner - PwC Luxembourg

With one of the broadest offerings in the market, Société Générale is at the forefront of innovation, allowing us to design bespoke solutions for our clients.
