Luxembourg CEO Sustainability Club - Disability in the workplace: an economic reality?

Disability, whether visible or invisible, is a reality in our society. Between 10% and 15% of the world's population live with a disability, often acquired in adulthood following an accident or illness. And how many have specific needs that may require adjustments to enhance their performance and well-being at work?

In companies, the challenge of inclusion is to ensure that everyone has job and career opportunities in line with their skills and aspirations while respecting and considering their characteristics. This implies genuine inclusion policies, enabling everyone to be themselves and offer the best of their potential to the organisation.

Changing how we look at things and deconstructing prejudices are the starting points for action and implementing an effective inclusion policy.
