DID YOU SAY TRANSITION?

On the occasion of the European Environment Week (1-5 June) and World Environment Day (5 June) 2020, and in the current pandemic context where new societal and economic challenges are emerging, we would like to provide you with keys to understanding and action levers for a successful ecological transition.

We are therefore organizing a conference with three complementary guest speakers, a PhD in Cognitive Science, an expert in Transformative Design and an expert in Circular Economy, all three specialists in ecological transition from their own field and perspective.

The conference will be introduced by Carole Dieschbourg, Minister of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development

  • Presentation from Thibaud Griessinger, Dr. Cognitive Science, ACTE Lab, Paris, France:
Convince or persuade. Incite or manoeuvre? How cognitive science knowledge can promote action and accompany the ecological transition.
  • Presentation from Birgitta Ralston, Design Thinking mentor and manager of the Bioregion Vestland project, RalstonBau, Bergen, Norway and Marseille, France:
Transformative design, essential actions for a post-fossile society – The role of design and bioregional value-chains in the transition to circular economy.
