Astonishing remarks on "the most irreductible inequality in the history of humanity"
Meet Raphaël Liogier
Sociologist and philosopher, Raphaël Liogier probes the crises and mutations of human identity. He deciphers contemporary beliefs and myths, imaginary individual and collective constructions and their political, social and economic consequences. He directed the Observatory of the Religious from 2006 to 2014. Graduated in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, he is a lecturer at the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence and at the International College of Philosophy. He is also an associate researcher at Columbia University and the University of Paris 10 Nanterre.
His last book caused a splash. After the #MeToo movement, Raphaël Liogier, with his book Au coeur du mâle, questions the very deep-rooted reasons underlying gender inequalities in our society. Together with Raphaël Liogier, we will explore the stereotypes that are at the root of disparities in the destinies of men and women, including, of course, in the workplace. We will question our cognitive structures to understand the feminine and the masculine differently.
Some people think this subject is behind us, and yet the asymmetry of destinies is played daily in the heart of all organizations ...
A sharp look at issues of gender equality, female and male leadership and sexism in the workplace.
