Capturing the energy lost from buildings and using it to grow plants in greenhouses on the city's rooftops sounds familiar? This is the objective of the European project GROOF (Greenhouses to reduce CO2 on Roofs). While relocating part of the food production, the energy savings achieved to make it possible to limit the carbon impact of the building and the greenhouse.
IFSB, within the framework of the GROOF project, is organizing a webinar: Valorization of rooftop greenhouses on Tuesday 02/03 from 11 to noon.
After introducing the presentation of the GROOF project by Nicolas ZITA, Marcel DERAVET will present elements of precise answers to the technical feasibility of the construction of a rooftop greenhouse and the energy contributions it can generate.
And to conclude, the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB) will present the guidelines for installing a rooftop greenhouse.
