IMS unveils the first highlight of the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum 2019

Each week, the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum will reveal one highlight of the program!

During the opening, a key moment will be the challenge of zero single-use plastic, presented under the theme "Choose to refuse".

At the agenda:

  • Official ceremony: change is happening! Leading personalities, signatory CEOs of the Zero Single-Use Plastic Manifesto will be together on stage, alont with the Minister for Environment, Climate and Sustainable development, Carole Dieschboug, to demonstrate that it is possible to say stop. A unique momentum towards a unprecedented challenge.
  • A TV studio set will be dedicated to concrete solutions already implemented. Several specialists on this subject and Luxemburgish actors will shaire their expertise and debate...

Two exhibitions on plastic pollutions with free access during the whole afternoon:

  • WASHED UP: An exhibition featuring works by Alejandro Duran: through pictures, videos and diverse facilities, this Mexican committed artist, based in New York, have centered his professional interests on the man and nature, revealing particularly the impact of our consumer society on the planet.
  • FOR SOME MINUTES OF USE: An education exhibition will explore the stakes of the ultra-plastic and some key figures
