Presentation of National Plan for Sustainable Development

This Thursday, September 27, with the active contribution of IMS Luxembourg, the Minister of the Environment Ms. Carole Dieschbourg, the Minister of Finance M. Pierre Gramegna and the Minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, M. Romain Schneider, presented the National Plan for Sustainable Development to civil society and private sector actors who participated in the joint workshops on the implementation of the United Nations Program "Transforming Our World: The Sustainable Development Agendaby 2030" known as Agenda 2030.

The National Plan for Sustainable Development proposes in its chapter II "A strategy for change", 10 priority fields of action:

  • Ensuring social inclusion and education for all
  • Ensure conditions for a healthy population
  • Promote sustainable consumption and production
  • Diversify and ensure an inclusive and future-oriented economy
  • Plan and coordinate land use
  • Ensure sustainable mobility
  • Stop degradation of our environment and respect the capacities of natural resources
  • Protect the climate, adapt to climate change and ensure sustainable energy
  • Contribute, globally, to the eradication of poverty and policy coherence for sustainable development
  • Guarantee sustainable finances
