On 20 February, IMS Luxembourg welcomed more than 40 participants to the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for the Diversity Day 2018 Preparation workshop, which will take place on 17 May.
This workshop was an opportunity for organizations actively involved in previous Diversity Days - Statec, Société Générale and Sodexo - to present their actions to inspire the participating organizations.
They were able to get a glimpse of how to raise awarness among their employees through a "Diversity Café" and promote exchanges through fun actions, how to create partnerships with non-profit organizations related to diversity (basketball game with Special Olympics, barbecue for Handicap International, intergenerational knitting with Mamie et moi or lunch in the dark with PADEM), but also how to set up an innovative action aimed at breaking down the stereotypes linked to certain professions: the Live my life @Sodexo.
Beyond these lines of action, a brainstorming session facilitated by Jan Glas was organized in the form of working groups where participants reflected on the problems, solutions and actions to be considered within their organization on 17 May.
