Working without burning out: The importance of the right to disconnect

The right to disconnect aims to protect the work-life balance in a world where technology keeps us constantly connected. This conference looks at this crucial issue from neuroscientific, legal and practical perspectives. We will also give concrete avenues for action to implement this right and promote healthier working environments.

Gaëtan de Lavilleon, doctor in neuroscience, will explain why disconnection is essential for your mental health. Lorraine Chéry, a lawyer specialising in employment law, will present the legal framework governing the right to disconnect in Luxembourg and Nancy Thomas, Director of IMS, will share the practical tools developed to help companies implement their disconnection policy.

We invite you, over lunch, to discover how disconnection can improve your work and your daily life.

When? Monday 8 July from 12:00 to 14:00 - lunch included
Where? Abbaye de Neimënster, 28 rue Münster, 2160 Grund Luxembourg
